Nano alumina is an inorganic substance with chemical formula of Al2O3 and white crystalline powder α、β、γ、δ、η、θ、κ and χ Eleven kinds of crystals.

Different preparation methods and process conditions can obtain nano alumina with different structures: χ、β、η and γ Type alumina, characterized by porosity, high dispersion and high activity, belongs to activated alumina; κ、δ、θ Type alumina; α- Al2O3, which has low specific surface area and high temperature resistant inertia, does not belong to activated alumina and has almost no catalytic activity; β- Al2O3、 γ- Al2O3 has large specific surface, high porosity, strong heat resistance, good formability, strong surface acidity and certain surface alkalinity. It is widely used as a new green chemical material such as catalyst and catalyst carrier.
